What this website collects
This website has no contact form, no booking system, no online shop, no user accounts and no comments. It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not set cookies. Fonts are stored on our own site, so your browser does not contact Google to load them.
Like every website, the company that hosts it receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and usually keeps this in server logs for security and troubleshooting.
When you contact us
If you phone, email, or message us on Instagram or Facebook to ask about or book an appointment, we receive the details you choose to give us, such as your name, phone number or email address, and what you are enquiring about.
- Why we use it: to reply to you and arrange or manage your appointment.
- Lawful basis: it is needed to take steps at your request before booking, or to carry out our service for you (contract), or otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- Who sees it: only the salon team.
- How long we keep it: we keep it only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry or appointment, and then delete it.
If you book or have a treatment, we may also keep appointment and client records (for example, colour formulas or patch test notes, which can include health-related information). We keep these only as long as needed to look after you properly.
Other organisations that receive information
- Email provider: emails to us go through Google (Gmail).
- Instagram and Facebook (Meta): links on this site open our profiles. Once you click through, Meta’s own privacy policy applies. If you message us there, Meta also holds that conversation.
- Google Maps: the “Get Directions” and “Google reviews” links open Google in a new tab. Nothing is sent to Google unless you click them.
- Website host: this website is hosted by Fasthosts, which receives the technical visit information described above.
We do not sell your information. Some of these providers, such as Google and Meta, may process information outside the UK under their own safeguards.
Customer reviews and quotes
Some reviews and quotes on this site come from public Facebook and Google posts and show the reviewer’s name. If you are named and would like your name removed, just ask.
Your rights
You can ask us to: see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or stop how we use it, or give you a copy to move elsewhere. Where we rely on legitimate interests you can object. To do any of these, email kathryn.vibe@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): https://ico.org.uk/ or call 0303 123 1113.

This website does not use cookies or similar technologies to store or read anything on your device, so there is no cookie banner. If that changes, we will ask for your permission first and update this page.
